CHEEEEESSSSEEEEE!!!

Here lately if Tucker sees you with a camera he follows you saying CHEESE! It's so cute, he sometimes will turn his head, and then tilt to his side lifting one leg while doing it. I just love this little guy. Earlier today he kept on and on and on because he saw my camera. Finally I just had to pick it up, take his picture, then he looks at me and grins and says, "BYE!"  All he wanted was to have his picture taken.  These are just a few shots I've taken of him doing this in the past few days. He also likes you to take pictures of him playing where is Tucker!

Remember the Rayovac promotion I blogged about?  Well, I was so crazy hectic that I missed entering in the first weeks category of photos, but entered our pet photo from this summer.  If you'll take a few minutes and click on the link below and vote for our donkey, Dusty, I'd appreciate it.  Hoping to enter next weeks contest with a picture of the boys from the beach.  Hop on over, vote for Dusty and have a wonderful day!!

Dear Apple, you were w.r.o.n.g!

I love my iMac. I really, really do. However, I do not love the fact that I have purchased a new editing program and it's not working correctly. It keeps telling me to repair my iPhoto permissions. I've repaired them at least 10 times, and still nothing. I'm over it. So this morning, I threw in the towel and called Apple. Only for the customer service agent to tell me, "I don't believe it's a problem with your computer I believe your memory card should be reformatted and you'll lose all your pictures will be lost from that card if you don't have any other way to get them off."  Okay, I'm no genius Mr. Apple agent but that's not an answer you give someone that has 470 pictures on a card.

As a good customer though, I took Mr. Apple's suggestion and I attempted to load the pictures from my camera to Travis' PC. Whala! It worked, they are loading as I type. So my point is this, APPLE WAS WRONG!  So now when the pictures finish loading I'll be back on the phone with Apple trying to fix the problem.

I've said all of this to tell you, my dear followers, this.  I am here, I have lots to blog about but the pictures that go along with it are stuck on my camera until this little Apple problem I'm having is corrected. So, please... don't leave me. Keep checking in on me and eventually, prayerfully sooner then later I'll have updates with lots of adorable pictures for you all to see.  We've been to the beach, we've got Tucker goodness, newborn goodness, and lots of other just pure sweetness to share with you from Cow Bird Lane!  Hope to be back up and running soon!

Dennis, Lindsey, and Wyatt

When you take a little boy and tell him you want to take pictures, that's one thing. When you have a little boy, taking pictures in a big field with horses, cows, and countless little flowers to pick, you have something else.
BLOG
I met with Dennis, Lindsey, and Wyatt this weekend to update their family photos. Wyatt is your typical 5 year old little boy. He and Carter are six months apart in age. I know what it's like to get a picture of Carter, so I was ready to go, I had a game plan. See, Wyatt LOVES cars. So I made as if my camera could talk to me and tell me what car, or plane, or frog would pop up through the lens if he looked directly at me. This never works for Carter probably because he knows I'm just after a picture. Wyatt however has not been in front of my camera now in about two years. Low and behold, it worked!

This little fella gave me great "cheese" smiles, lots of laughter, and then while we were in the process I asked him who he loved the most. He replied with the sweetest answer, "my momma". I asked him why she was the sweetest and he says, "cause she is nice to me, she plays with me, and she let's me do fun things".
BLOG
Lindsey stood quietly behind me but I'm sure her heart was going pitter patter. Little boys can be so rough and tough that when they have that sweet moment, it melts us. While asking him these questions he was looking at his momma with the sweetest face.

I really enjoy spending time with kids and getting to know them when I'm taking pictures. Lindsey, Wyatt's mom, is another life long friend of mine. I don't get to see them as often as I'd like so spending time just chatting with Wyatt was fun. To see his own personality and capture that personality for Lindsey was lots of fun for me.

Lindsey, I hope you enjoy the pictures. Our little ones grow up way too fast, don't they? As I told you just a few months back with each new stage, starts a new chapter in their little books!  May these pictures be ones you can put in this chapter and cherish forever!  Thanks for asking me to photograph your family!!  I love you guys!
