This little light of mine...

Tucker is still snoozing, I'm catching up on blogging and emails that are starting to pile up, and Carter is lying in his bed just thinking about getting out of bed.  The sun is peaking over the tree tops, and the house is so quiet. The quiet breaks and I hear this small voice, "this little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine..." I stopped what I was doing and walked to the doorway, thinking I'd see Carter out of bed and sitting in the crib with Tucker. I was wrong. Carter was still in his bed singing his heart out. What a better way to start the day then to hear your little one singing.

As I stood at the door listening, I couldn't resist the huge smile that was on my face. I'm blessed, and God is so good time my family. My sweet four year old reminding me this morning to be a light for Jesus. Will you let it shine today? May the love and compassion of Jesus fill our lives so that others may see Him through us.
